Ava Motherwell Collection

Since 1989, I have been traveling across Europe in search of unique vintage and vintage-inspired beads. My journey into the world of beads and jewelry began with upcycling costume jewelry into my own creative designs. I am constantly on the lookout for bold, colorful beads, findings and jewelry components, with a special love for pieces used in costume jewelry from the 1920s to the 1980s.

Contemporary Glassworks

Contemporary Glassworks features dichroic glass jewelry components made by artisan Janet Wolery. There are also lots of vintage Swarovski crystals and discontinued Swarovski crystal beads and pendants. Lots of other surprises too!

Grace Lampwork Beads

We create our beads using premium Venetian and German glass, following a strict quality control process. Every bead is kiln-annealed overnight for strength and durability. Small beads take 5–10 minutes each to make, ensuring the intricate detail and craftsmanship that mass-produced beads can’t match. At Grace Lampwork Beads, we believe in balancing speed and quality to maintain our consistent, high standards.

Paula Radke

Paula Radke has been making art glass for over 35 years. In the early 1980’s,  Paula discovered glass making. She studied with Boyce Lundstrom at Camp Colton, Oregon and the alchemy of glass has kept her attention for more three decades.

Paula was an early contributor to the Glass Bead Makers Movement in the 90’s. She handcrafts beads using the ancient techniques of the Italian masters but uses a glass that became well known in the 1990’s-Dichroic Glass.

Priscilla Beads

Our specialty is NATURAL BEADS....beads made from wood, coconut shells, sea shells, horn, bone, etc. but REDEFINED to make them more unique, fashionable and beautiful...

Like our wood items, they are made into decoupaged beads and pendants to look more vintage and romantic and fun.

Most of all, we take care of the earth by using waste materials from wood...we make beads from wood shavings (sawdust) and  hand rolled paper beads from used magazines and catalogs.

We hope that you will enjoy our bead collection as much as we enjoy creating them for you...

The Rita Okrent Collection

In the 1970's, my mom, Rita Okrent, began makin jewelry and seeking out interesting components to use for her own designs. Soon her collection became a favorite source for antique beads and components for other collectors and designers, Rita traveled the world for her treasures, and was known for her one-of-a-kind and asymmetrical ethnic necklaces.

I'm her daughter, Jocelyne. I'm so proud to continue to supply useful and beautiful design elements to our customers worldwide. From one bead comes hundreds of ideas on how to use it!
